I broke out the grafting knife again yesterday and got through 15 trees, the majority of which were an unnamed local variety that I’ve dubbed Julian Red, since it is red and from Julian and that is all I know about it.
Potted up the cucumber blocks into 4” pots, and planted the comfrey cuttings that seem established out in the orchard. Bernie prepped some beds and planted more greens, as well as calendula around the garden’s edge and borage in the corners of beds.
