Spent the afternoon making soil blocks and starting seeds for our cukes and tomatoes and and friends. It still takes quite a bit of time, so I can see why this isn’t more common commercially. They are a lot of fun to make though. We’ve got the following varieties going, and will have way too many tomatoes if they all come up...

The chain on my chainsaw was pulled off the other day, and I took the saw apart to make sure it was still in good condition — looks like some of the links were damaged and stuck, so I guess that’s why you don’t cut through layers brush with a chainsaw...

Tried to capture the ducks that have been hanging out on the pond. They’re pretty skittish, so they fly off when you get close.
